Elmo and The Cookie Monster
Elmo and the Cookie Monster have long been 2 of our favorite characters. They have had Elmo and Cookie Monster toothbrushes since they started brushing "themselves". Elmo is Eli's and Cookie Monster belongs to Beckett - every night when we brush our teeth Eli gets his Elmo and then gives Cookie Monster to Beckett. It's really a sweet nightly ritual.
So for Halloween this year we decided on Elmo and Cookie Monster costumes. I read lots of reviews of the costumes and finally chose the plush ones. Elmo even has a giggle box attached to him. The costumes came in a few weeks ago and boy have we had fun with them! We are getting our money's worth for sure. The day we "unveiled" them Justin took Eli into the guest bedroom and I took Beckett into our room. We got them all suited up, opened the door, and told them to go find each other. I really wish I had a video of the insane hilarity and giggles that ensued when they saw each other for the first time. "ELMO!!!" "COOKIE MONSTER" "BECKETT!!" "ELI" craziness.
Here is a picture of Eli when we showed him the mirror for the first time... SO STINKING CUTE!
I have to share these videos which I don't do the best job but you can get an idea of the silliness that comes along with these costumes.
We drag our costumes everywhere! And play in them all the time. Here we are holding them in the car on the way to the grocery store. They insisted on taking them!
I should have bought a size larger so we could play all year! Can't wait for Halloween.. the little ones make it so much fun. Trick or Treat.. um.. I am going with 2 treats :-)
