A Pool Day At The Beach

One day during our vacation, we loaded up all the crew to head to the beach but when we got there, the sea was rough and the seaweed was heavy so we turned around and headed back for A POOL DAY!  

We were blessed to have an "aunts, uncles, & cousins" kind of day.  Aunt Lauren & Uncle Preston, Aunt Nikki & Uncle Woody, Uncle JB, cousins Charis & Addy were all with us on this oh so fun day. 

Charis worked hard to perfect her jump off the side..  Beckett took his first "dive" but no pictures of that :-)

We literally spent the whole day at the pool which led to some really cute sweet moments.. like finding places and ways for babies to nap!  The wagon was a great nap spot for Eli.. everyone kept watch for the moving towel :-)

The sweetest part of the day.. special moments with family and your families kids.  I think it really hit me that is the future of our family.  Not our parents, grandparents, aunts & uncles but our kids families.  Those people that they will grow up and tell stories about one day. This was the first time we had spent time with cousin Addy.  Sweet Charis growing up so fast.  All the boys uncles together.  All the girls spending time together at the pool while the boys were home with the kids for afternoon naps.  Riding bikes back and forth to the house to grab things we need.  There were times that I looked around and wished that I could hit pause.  Everyone was carefree, laughing, loving on each other, hugging babies, and playing.  A perfect pool day at the beach!
