34 Weeks and Counting Down

I am 34 weeks this week! We went to the doctor on Wednesday and are a little concerned with my blood pressure. I am borderline developing preeclampsia. I have been pretty swollen and have experienced numbness in my legs, feet, and hands. Almost like they have fallen asleep but not prickly, just can't feel them. This is due to my circulation issues. So with that and the high blood pressure, I am on bed rest. For real... and she said that we should look at 36 weeks for delivery possibly. We did not schedule a date yet, I am hoping that when I go back Monday we can do that. We were originally hoping to make it 37 weeks but she is going to monitor me closely and see what is best for both me and the boys. The boys are doing great.. they will get weighed again on Monday. I can tell they are getting bigger though! We really need to make it these last 2 weeks for their lung development. Please pray for these baby boys to stay in here 2 more weeks and for my blood pressure to hold steady.

I received good news this week from work. Before I left, we had to reapply for our positions due to the Wachovia/Wells Fargo merger. Because Wells Fargo has such a large presence here in Texas, there were only a certain number of Store Manager (branch manager) positions available here. It was uncertain whether I would return as a manager or have to step down to a different position if one was available. The DM for Wells Fargo called and offered me a Store Manager position! Yeah! So I know that I will have a job and that I will return to my same branch in January. That is a huge relief and now I can relax a little about the job situation and just enjoy being home with the babies. I know it is going to go by so fast!

It won't be long until the little ones are here. We are praying for healthy lung development, lower blood pressure, and a smooth delivery and entry into the world for little Beckett and Eli. Thank you so much for all our prayers. Can't wait to welcome them to the world.
