Ma and Dave Visit us

My Ma and Dave made their way to Texas last week for the 1st time. We had a blast! We of course took them to Pappasito's and ate our favorite dishes. We did some baby shopping (see other post) and the treated us to our first trip to Perry's Steakhouse. Wow! It was amazing. The photo from above is from outside. I had an amazing filet with king crab, creamed spinach, potatoes au gratin... Justin had lamb chops and he tried turtle soup! I wasn't brave enough to try because it was really spicy and heartburn is bad enough but all said was amazing. Even if it was made with Louisiana snapping turtle!

I came home from work Friday to a nice surprise. Justin, Ma, and Dave were sitting around a gorgeous table on the back deck! Ma and Dave picked us out a beautiful rectangle table with a tile top that matched out newly stained deck. The umbrella has solar lights built in to it. What a fabulous treat to be able to enjoy our back deck.

It was wonderful having them here. We are blessed to have such a loving family. And such a big help with getting the house in order. Next up, my parents and Gracie will be here next week for a quick visit. Can't wait!
